About Me
Born into an Italian family, GIULIA spent the first two years of her life in the African Sahara. Her father’s career then took the family to South Africa, where they enjoyed four blissful years. These early experiences shaped her personality and instilled a deep curiosity for travel and cultural exploration.
At the age of seven, she moved back to Pavia, a historically rich city near Milan. As a teenager, she was rebellious yet passionate about culture, philosophy, fashion, and art. She pursued her love for creativity by studying fashion styling at Milan’s renowned Istituto Marangoni, which later led her to London, where she graduated from the London College of Communication with a BA in Media and Cultural Studies.
Since graduating, GIULIA has traveled the world, working in the film industry in Paris on an independent film and spending five years as an art teacher in Pavia.
In 2018, she moved to Ibiza with her family, where she lived for five years. Just before the pandemic, she discovered she was pregnant with her third child. Rather than letting the global crisis hinder her, she embraced the moment to fully immerse herself in her art, unlocking a new level of creative expression.
Her work, deeply inspired by textiles and patterns, gives a voice to the feminine energy of Ibiza. The women in her portraits embody her personal journey, and her signature color palette reflects the hues of the island.
Behind her vibrant art, no one knew she was experiencing domestic violence. Shortly after becoming a full-time artist, she found the courage to report her situation to the police, a decision that transformed her life forever.
Empowered by the iconic women she was creating, she broke free and reclaimed her independence. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a new chapter—one focused on strength, resilience, and empowerment.
Now based in Milan, GIULIA channels her experiences into art that inspires and empowers women. Her studio, inspired by Andy Warhol’s Factory, is a thriving creative hub with a team of four assistants and dedicated professionals supporting her vision.
Through her work, she seeks to unleash the potential of women, using her art as a tool for transformation, self-discovery, and empowerment.
